What a beautiful piece this is! The picture doesn't do it justice. The box is polished and built to perfection, even with little round pads on the bottom for no slippage during performance. The letter dagger is an absolutely stunning piece. I don't know if it is or not, but the blade appears to be gold plated. It's that pretty of a piece. For the 'card / knife-stab' premise, this makes it even more memorable. Don't let the fact the case isn't gimmicked or anything sway you. Yes, it's just a prop to enhance the trick, but wow, what an enhancement. Other decks of similar principles can be used if desired, consider a Svengali or 101 (aka Koran) deck. In fact this can be to the magician's advantage; they'll suspect the box and focus on it instead of the deck and can examine it to their heart's desire. Can't recommend more highly, immediately put in my display case and will be used next time guest come over.
