This pad utilizes a unique gimmick built into the pad itself. If used properly, it will allow you to perform a variety of miracles depending on your own creativity. Unfortunately, you can not allow the spectator to close the pad in the manner shown in the SEOMAGIC video. The best way I have found to accomplish this is to have the spectator turn the pad face down after writing on it. To rationalize this move, I then have the spectator flip over simultaneously the back cover along with the front cover exposing the back page of the pad to which I have attached a small sticky note. I do this within the context of a book test, with the spectator having written the selected word on the front page of the pad, and the page number ( as a hint to me - "I'm not that good" ) on the sticky note. I then have the spectator hand the pad to me as I remove my "hint" and close the pad myself, using the supplied page number to find the selected word in the book.
