I love all of Masuda's work and own many of them. This one is a keeper! Might need the right timing to bring this out but it will be totally worth it.
I bought this when I was just starting my hobby so I didn't have many options to execute sleight of hands. But I did well with this as there is no sleight of hand at all! You have to be able to clean up well tho.
There are two versions, sitting down at a table or standing up performance. I choose the standing up as it is easier for me to get the gimmick ready. The handling or the move might be a little bit tacky and need a little bit practice to make it looks convincing but it is fairly easy. You just need to get used to it.
For those who already know the method and gimmick but still worried about it, don't! The gimmick is marvelous and will give you enough confidence to execute this close-up. I've done this to my students and co-workers. It makes me look like a real cardician.
Quality of gimmick is excellent and will last very long time if you keep them well. No refill needed as it is basically self-working. Two thumbs up!
