If you are looking for an excellent, compact, well thought out mind reading illusion this is IT! It is very well made, and as I have generally found with most Tenyo products, ingenious in its simplicity. I buy tricks that I cannot figure out myself. I was afraid that this illusion had something to do with the length of the sticks. Well, is does NOT, and the way Tenyo accomplishes this mystery is very, very smart. Most people will never, ever figure its secret out. I did balk at the price. For three plastic sticks and a vinyl carrying case I thought it pricy. BUT, it is well designed and constructed...it should last a long time, and the routine and trick to using them is worth something! Right? I could do the routine within 1/2 hour of opening it. There are no tricky moves involved. The only thing I do not understand about this item is why they call them FORTUNE sticks. The symbols printed on the sticks are not really conducive to predicting ones fortune! For instance, there is a glass, an egg slice, a tree,etc. See what I mean? You will have to come up with some good "fortunes" of your own for the symbols used. Their suggestions are sort of weak. Aside from that this is an ingenious little device and worth having in your bag of tricks....so to speak!
