The concept of a wallet that bursts into flame has always intrigued me. So I bought this to give it a shot! I had my own idea on how it should work, and this did not use any of my ideas!! The wallet is leather and durable enough to handle a flame for short 2 or 3 second bursts. Any longer and the wallet would be in danger of sustaining damage. You use lighter fluid to make it work, not a flammable substance in a gaseous state like I thought. You also cannot prepare the wallet for use too long in advance because the liquid lighter fluid you use evaporates quickly. The wallet can actually be used as a wallet...imagine that! However, it is NOT very fashionable looking, rather squarish in appearance. The good thing though, is once it starts burning (which is really something!!) no one pays any attention to how it looks. It is very fairly priced for what you get. Mark Mason makes some fine items.
