I have always been a fan of Sugawara and the illusions he creates: this one is great. It came with printed instructions (which I am a HUGE fan of). Unfortunately, the instructions were not as detailed as I would have liked. For instance, they tell you to put the gimmicked 8 of diamonds into a deck of cards (replacing the authentic 8D), but they do not tell you how to get the spectator/you to select it in order to use it for the penetration. Not a big deal, I can figure something out, but still. Other than that it is a precision made gimmick, I suspect totally hand assembled, which accounts for the high cost of $30. It works very well, but it is delicate and has to be handled carefully: it is all paper. The biggest problem I had with it was finding a THIN pencil to do the penetration with (as strongly suggested in the instructions)!! For the price, it would have been nice to include one. So, I used a piece of wire instead, which worked quite well. It is a small, simple illusion you can carry in your pocket, but it does fool people. Definitely worth adding to a collection
