I try to include illusions in my performance that incorporate different materials: the more common (or every day in nature) the better. The thought of working with thimbles intrigued me. I saw some pretty amazing performances using them on line. Unfortunately, the routine and manipulations necessary to work with them just did not float my boat, and proved somewhat difficult for my older fingers...something I did not consider!! Remember that they are all the same size so if you have abnormally pudgy fingers, or narrow, using them may be a concern. Their construction is ingenious however, and if you get the moves down pat (so they do not fall off your fingers which will happen if you hold them at the wrong angle) you can end up with an impressive segment for your show. They just were not my thing
