There are many ways to produce silks. Some of which are very visual. I was looking for a slightly different method. So, I decided to order the Flash Silk Stand. I just received it yesterday (btw, thank you Seo Magic for always sending items out in a prompt manner). The instructions are well-written and the prop is really fairly easy to use. The online demo video is also helpful.
I am looking forward to using this in some school shows I will be doing in May and June. I may use some color-matching glitter or confetti to throw towards the open area of the stand where the silk appears just to add to the effect. I could also see possible ordering a second one of these stands and come up with effects in which both are used (e.g., appear-disappear-reappear).
The flash stand packs flat and is light. I do think that it will withstand use if cared for.
