The appearing hamburger is a very realistic looking prop; however, I must admit I am very disappointed with its ability to "compress." In my opinion, it does not compress. I was expecting it to be very spongy -- something I could "compress" in my hand. It can be slightly squeezed in one direction -- top to bottom -- like pushing on a very hard sponge -- just making an indentation. It is a VERY stiff prop. It is not a "soft" sponge. The advertisment reads that it is a "Soft, Spongy material allows for slight compression for easy carrying." Again, it is not soft. It does allow for a very slight compression (top to bottom), but not enough to make a difference in handling or the size of the prop. If you want a $24.00 hamburger prop that doesn't change its size, go for it.
