I own both Tenyo's 'Arabian Cards' from the 1970's an 'Ultimate Arabian Cards' by Trix that was once available here but sold out. The statement on the main page of 'Arabian Sleeve by Sho' (this product) states '... has evolved and is more powerful' is both correct and incorrect. Yes, it has evolved from Tenyo's version and is, in my opinion, a simpler method though Tenyo's 'Arabian Cards' has more that happens. This method falls more in line with 'Ultimate Arabian Cards' as far as the gimmick goes but is entirely different which you can see if you watch both videos. So, to say it's evolved, well yes in that it uses sleeves but to say it's more powerful, well no it's not. It's different than the others and I've experienced audience reactions with the previous 2 which have been outstanding, they're strong solid effects. In summary all 3 versions are great with none above the other.
The sleeves are thin plastic and were fidgety at first when I tried putting the cards back into them but I've worked them in and they handle better. They didn't come with a larger sleeve or wallet to store in and don't fit in standard card packet wallets. It would have been nice if they would have provided something, even a paper envelope would have been better than nothing. I wouldn't carry them around loosely in a pocket. I suppose maybe if kept in a shirt pocket or suit pocket where they're alone without other props rubbing against them.
To conclude, it's a great method, very easy to do and will serve the purpose when you wish to switch a card for something else and for $20 it's a good price for the effect.
