It amazes me how many ideas these folks can come up with that are really fun to assemble and fool folks with. The trick comes in several pieces that have to be assembled carefully and in a specific way, but once assembled properly it works really well! I would not call this close up magic, the viewer should be 3 or 4 feet away, and, most importantly, the device has to be handled carefully by the magician. The coin that is placed inside the device will rattle around and make noise if it is moved too abruptly or quickly. It does take a bit of practice to get all the proper moves down fluently but once you learn how to assemble it carefully in front of your audience they will be amazed with the result. This is definitely worth owning.
