This set of coins is basically 2 Kreis' magnetic quarters and Kreis' expanded quarter shell, combined into 1 package, and save a little money over buying them separately (both still available). The quarters are the strongest magnetic coins I've ever felt. They surprised me how strongly they attract to one another.
The quarter shell is just that, an expanded quarter shell. It's very well made and fits any quarter.
If you have a creative mind you'll come up with other ideas beyond what's taught. Jimmy C.'s ideas he teaches are good and will work for most laypeople. Personally, I think there's a couple weak areas in his presentations, one being a repetative swooping of the hand holding a visible magnetic quarter over the focal point in order for the visible quarter to attract the other onto the back of the fingers, thus stealing it secretly. Don't get me wrong, it's a great move, just not sure about the over and over repititious use of it. A 2nd weakness, once again just my opinion, is the effects where 2 quarters are apparently stacked onto one another and whe removed, it's just 1 coin and the other falls from below whatever obstacle. Frankly, the 1st time I saw it I knew immediately it involves magnetism. It just looks to obvious and modern people are quite aware of magnetism. The coin stealing from the spectator's hand is great, uses the sweeping move but more natural looking, though still repetitive.
For utility purposes this set is great, kind of expensive but then again not really when you consider what you get. The items are of the highest quality and come in a nice clear little coin box for storage.
