My review is summed up by one word AMAZING. Tenyo releases in recent years have been disappointing but 2023 is one of the best. In the golden years of Tenyo, the Sugawara, Kato era you could open the package read the instructions and try it out straight away. More recently with many releases some DIY is necessary to put the props together and apply the necessary stickers but not with Mr. Danger. Once you have downloaded the instructions you can try it straight away. The instructions take you through the procedure before the secret is revealed. We are told to work it out ourselves before referring to another web site for a revelation of the mechanism. You fool yourself as you try it.
There appears no room for the effigy to move. It looks impossible and the illusion is enhanced by the yellow image on the lid. Best of all it works itself. No moves or bad angles. You need to press down on the figure when inserting it in the case to make sure it is fully inserted otherwise the trick will not work. The case and the effigy can be examined as the secret mechanism locks.
I found it easy to lose the plastic swords but Tenyo only provide one extra so it may be a good idea to buy a spare Mr. Danger before it sells out. It would probably be a best seller. Also I found the demonstration videos of all four items disappointing as they were edited - why cannot Tenyo provide the full performance. Would give 6 stars if possible. Another creation of So Sato and hopefully we can look forward to more of his creations in future years.
