This is an interesting trick, but one that can not be relied upon to work perfectly well each time it is used. It requires assembly which took me about 30 minutes to do. Generally, the initial assembly of a trick is all that is required, however, each time you want to do this trick it requires you to reassemble the inner workings of the gimmick, so it is NOT something that you can hop from table to table to perform. I do not think it is very well made and in order for it to work as it should it requires that the plastic and rubber and string used to pull the illusion off, all act "as they should" in concert with one another. If one component doesn't slide, or grab, or release when it should, well, the illusion fails. It is a novel concept but not something I would feel comfortable doing in public without fear of it failing.
