I felt this deserves more than a 4-star but there's no option for 4.5, so I'm giving it 5-stars. It's certainly nicely made, the color of the dice and the prop as a whole gives this feeling of something old. I personally like the 'not new' look. That gives it more of a logical reason for existing in the 1st place.
In its beginning state, the prop can be examined, providing the sliding window remains closed. Once the single die is removed, it cannot. It's cleverly built and designed but with limited handling. The different values on the other dice eliminate the possibility of a slide gimmick simply moving over to cover the open area or the values would be seen to move as well plus there's no visible '6'. Looks can be deceiving however as I'm sure you're quite aware.
All in all, it reminds me of something my grandfather would have made and there's a certain antique or retro charm to it. The tutorial is very short and doesn't explain the 2nd phase of the video where the magician makes the die magically transfer from his hand and into the closed box. If you don't know, the move is called the 'striking or strike vanish' and tutorials can be found online. The rest will become obvious.
It's a reasonable cost for something handmade. There's no mention however on who made it.
