The illusion works quite well, but I feel is pricey for what you get. It does take a bit of assembly using a rubber band that surely will wear out with time. You receive a couple of spare elastics, but they will wear out as well. Finding proper elastics to replace them down the road may be a problem. Another issue I had with it was preparing it for use: there are small slots and tabs that have to be aligned properly to prepare it for use, then getting it ready to "do its magic" takes a little finesse as well. My biggest complaint however, is the noise it makes when the cash suddenly appears. Its quite loud and is actually addressed in the instructions, which you have to print yourself.
All that being said, I used it to give my secretary a cash bonus one day and it made quite an impression on her. It is not something I will use often (especially for bonus's!!!) but once in a while it is fun.
