This is a truly well made 'W' wallet. There are subtle enhancements built into this wallet that gives it advantages over the Himber (sometimes referred to as a 'Z' wallet) besides the obvious differences. I don't think I'm giving much away if I describe some of the main principles of this wallet as I would bet you're already familiar with the basic processes of switch wallets and aren't visiting this website to discover any secrets but are looking at a high quality made prop to use in your magic performances. Well I'll tell you right now if a 'W' wallet is what you're looking for, look no further.
Mr. Fugimura has given this 'W' wallet key enhancements. One is that if the wallet is on the table, laying on either side, the spectators can see two edges which subliminally suggests normalcy and retracts attention. In other words, everyone has seen wallets, folders, etc. closed many times their whole life and their brains are accustomed to two edges being visible and trained itself to this as being unimportant. Another great addition is to this wallet is a gimmick(s) that keeps the 2nd area of the wallet snug together to where a spectator can handle the wallet and even open it to remove the final load. It's not tape, glue or velcro that does the work but something far more practical.
This wallet is hard leather (not squashy) and very well built. It will last a lifetime. This particular version has a large window on one side when opened and comes with a cool presentation and prop for immediate use. The supplied flying butterfly fascinates me on the simplicity of its clever construction and method, almost poetic, which is a perfect example of Japanese approach and direction that I so love and admire. But beyond that, any kind of image, cards, etc. can be put into the window for various themed presentations (convert it for Halloween, Easter, Christmas, etc.). Highly recommended
