Recently this old methodology has come to light again in the magic community. This idea of So Sato that uses the principle is very clever and deceptive. Once again, assembly is required and with my set, the pre-creased gimmick strip isn't very accurate and extra bending was necessary with the gimmicked strip to look good from all angles. The secret could flash if people aren't standing and looking downward at the prop. This set does come with normal black and normal yellow strips so with a proper routine can end with the spectator scratching their head(s) in disbelief. It's a pretty and interesting illusion but has angle restrictions and will need to be tweaked when assembling. Practice is needed in the handling of the prop since if you accidentally knock it over people will laugh at you as the secret will be obvious. Using the nice box included with it helps to obscure view angles which I'll be using if and when I get brave enough to perform this to someone other than myself.
