Nothing could be simpler than this optical illusion trick. All you have to do is switch the lids in a dramatic fashion. The illusion it is based was created in 1990 by Stanford University psychologist Roger N. Shepard called 'Shepard Tables' and published in his book Mind Sights, a collection of illusions that he had created. More information can be easily found online and is properly credited in the tutorial for this.
Now for the prop. The boxes are printed on thin but stiff cardboard stock, similar to inexpensive dry-erase boards. It has a nice little frame around it and a string for hanging. For just less than $18, that would make it a good deal. Now for the enhancements which make it a great deal. Inside the board is a metal sheet and both box lids are printed on flexible magnets! All in all it's a very nice prop and very well worth the price.
There's nothing else really to say except I definitely recommend it for ease in performing and quality construction.
