Sometimes after purchasing a magic illusion and once the secret is learned, it's very important to remember how amazed you were when you first saw it. This is one such effect. Tenyo for the most part means plastic, sometimes clicky, noisy plastic. For avid Tenyo collectors such as myself, it's a welcomed thing. I almost expect it every year, possibly even miss it should they ever release a group without at least 1 item having that attribute. The minute I removed these props from the box, the secret was instantly obvious. For the spectator however, if performed right they'll never see a thing except 2 solid rods. There is a 'bad' click but which can be avoided with practice. I was a little disappointed it doesn't come with the small silk that's shown in the video as I would have also loved an extra un-gimmicked rod for final examination of both. This certainly isn't self-working and by no means difficult to do, but to look like the demonstration and keep the 'click' sounds to a minimum practice is key. With a little slight of hand this can be literally impossible which would involve handing one rod for inspection and false switching for the other. 1 rod can be examined, the other absolutely not.
All in all, very clever and with practice very practical for carry. I think I will order another just for an extra un-gimmicked rod so I can hand both for examination, going into my pocket for the sleeve and switch one of the rods for the gimmick rod in the process. In the end switch once more.
A solid 5-star rating for the illusion and I'm sure a future collector's piece.
