DESTINY with 1 deck. I purchased two of these decks because of the number of tricks you can do with it. I will consequently, write two reviews. The main routine, which this is about, requires that the deck be in new card order. If you disrupt that order trying something other than "Destiny", you will have to spend considerable time getting the deck back in order, in addition to making sure that the special gimmicks are in their proper place as well, before being able to use it again. You can get away with using just one deck if you are short on cash, but I recommend purchasing two. The routine and effect are wonderful, but it does take considerable practice to be able to handle the specially made cards fluidly and nonchalantly, as if you are working with a normal deck. The cards are thinner than normal so they do have to be handled a bit more carefully. They also have large indexes on them, which I was not too pleased with because it makes the cards look different from what folks are used to seeing. It is something additional that you may have to explain to the viewer: not necessarily a good thing. You get a tube of the special something you need to maintain the cards in pristine working order as well. For what I received I do feel the trick is on the expensive side: I would have felt more comfortable paying $50 for this instead of $80. But it is made by Card Shark and all their stuff is expensive....but that is another story!! Enjoy.
