This minimal version of geometric area-absorption (Martin Gardner dubbed 'The Principle of Concealed Distribution') is well made and is unique in the methodology. Normally, the principle requires switching the pieces for the vanish to occur. In this version however the pieces are simply flipped over, taking advantage of the transparent material the images are printed on. Although this secret can be hidden by how the pieces are handled and displayed, it still not any big mystery and is almost immediately discovered if allowed to be examination. But, these kinds of tricks don't rely solely on the secret for their success because they're fun just to play with and for the lay people trying to figure out how it's happening. These elementary-level vanishing persons puzzles aren't deep but they are a fun casual diversion for the audience. If you like these types of magic puzzles, I recommend this one when it becomes available again.
