This is by far the most practical method of the 'rising card' illusion I've ever seen, and it looks awesome! It's even a fun gimmick to use. I'm enjoying just playing with it while watching TV. There may others that look amazing and can be done with borrowed decks. But ' Rising Up' by DK surpasses all that I'm aware of in method and as far as practicality goes this is leaps and bounds above. We all know what a pain thread management can be and in most cases the deck can't be borrowed nor handled so freely as this method allows. There are no threads involved, no sleeve or body hookups or attachments, nothing of the sort. This is simply a small, solid gimmick that you toss into your pocket and is ready to go at a moments notice. 'Rising UP' is very practical and logical and I love it! It's a gimmick, and a very simple one, but a very clever one and for its inexpensive cost not worth the effort trying to figure it out. Just buy it and freak out your magic buds at the next meeting and everyone else in between.
This kid's clever and 'Rising Up' is a shining example, one of my more favorite magic purchases.
I think it's suppose to be called 'Rising Up' since the word 'Rising' is on the 'U' shape.
