This is the sort of item that reminds me exactly why I enjoy magic, and being fooled so much. There is nothing complex about it, but as usual, the written instructions that come with it are not that easy to figure out. It really perplexes me as to why the people that assembled this couldn't hire someone who can speak, write, and understand English WELL to put together easy to follow instructions with good quality illustrations. The materials used to make this trick may have cost a total of $1.00 so an asking price of $14 would easily cover a proofreaders fee. I also feel this item is grossly over priced for what you get, even if it does cover the intellectual value and ingenuity involved: which someone SHOULD be compensated for. One thing that I keep wondering though is whether or not this is an original idea or not. It is very simplistic and I find it hard to believe that someone hasn't thought of this concept for an illusion years ago. Aside from that I would like to say that it is an easy routine to do with minimal setup and it really fools those who watch it. The beauty is in its simplicity. It would not be hard to make replacement snakes and forks if the originals wear out...at that price you may want to. I gave it 4 stars because of its price.
