This is about as simple of a method I've ever seen for this type of effect. It's a simplicity that no layperson will think of, nor many magicians for that matter. Tomoyuki Shimomura is one of the most clever creators for Tenyo and this is a perfect example of his thinking. To be honest, you're not getting much for the price, just a small book. You even have to provide the deck. The book doesn't even have page numbers in it. That's not unusual since the book is designed to look like one of those you can have made for a photo collection, but in performance it would have been nice. Instead, you have to make sure you're counting is precise and no pages get skipped should a larger page number get selected. I'm still giving it 5 stars since I judge magic tricks on their usability and magic effectiveness, and this trick covers both those bases very well. After the trick, the deck is easily reset and ready to go again. I'm carrying this one around. The book is small enough that it fits easily in an inside jacket pocket. Other methods can be substituted for the 2nd phase of the routine if you're a card man like me.
