I am normally a huge fan of the tricks that mark Mason brings to market, but this one just did not thrill me as much as his usually do. The gimmicked cards are very ingenious, BUT after examining them for a few minutes and watching the instructional DVD, I could see a couple of ways that the gimmick could have been improved, and tidied up. But that is just me: over all what you receive works just fine!
I gave this a 4 rating because the final reveal, and the way it is done, just does not seem as climactic as I think it should be. It is not as powerful as many of his other tricks.
To do this you have to be able to control your shuffles, get a card to the bottom of the deck from the top, and do a swing cut. Mark shows you how to do all of these things, and they are VERY easy to do. The finale also involves undertaking a series of subtle little moves that need to be concealed from the spectator, so angles and sight lines are important. I think this was a good purchase, and it is very fairly priced. AND, thank goodness, he gives you a DVD to learn from!!! Thank you Mark.
