First a confession. I am a big fan of Mr. Sugawara's illusions. He has a brilliant mind and a real knack for fooling us with the simplest of things. Most of what he has made are outstanding and can fool just about everyone! Mystery Frame is another gem. It is pricey, but remember these special tricks are not made from plastic but from wood and do require precision assembly. In my opinion Mr. Sugawara's tricks are collectibles and should be a part of any worthwhile magic collection.
There are no difficult moves required to perform this illusion, unless you consider a double lift hard. Even if you do consider it hard however, the instructional DVD that comes with it offers a couple of different ways to do the illusion and a fantastic way to do the lift that does not even require you to DO the lift!!. Really! I swear, I now know how to do Mystery Frame, but even after doing it several times it STILL fools me!! The card transformation is so visual, so simple it is hard to believe your eyes!!
The instructional DVD is tedious though. As is generally the case with SEO magic products they do not use instructors fluent in English to teach. I was generally able to follow the instructions, but they were presented in broken English with a great deal of repetition. Had the presentation been done with a tried and true actor fluent in English they could have been presented in half the time. Oh well! Bottom line: this is another GREAT illusion from SEO. Nice job!!!!
