This trick is durable and should last a long time: it IS well made. I wish that I could just say unequivocally that I love it, but I cannot. It is a strange size, but that has to do with executing part of the so called magic: components have to be flexible and not rigid. I would like it better if it were smaller and more of a pocket trick. As it is it is too big to be able to comfortably carry it around in a pocket.
For such a simple looking apparatus it does require you to position pieces very carefully during the routine so things work as they should. Practice WILL get you over that hurdle though. Although they say it can be examined by the spectator, some people really looking for something might actually be able to discern something not quite right at the end of the routine. This is the sort of illusion that definitely displays better in a video than in person. Bottom line, it is not the worse thing I have ever bought, BUT it is not something I will be performing all that often, my money could have been spent more wisely, especially at SEO.
