This is a very appealing, compact, close up illusion that is not hard to do at all, though it does take about 15 seconds to prepare between uses. The price seems high for a matchbox trick, BUT, you are using a solid block of brass that has been very carefully machined so the illusion will work first time, every time. The gimmick will fit in any standard size wooden matchbox. I actually replaced the supplied box with one from a local restaurant which really gave the trick a personal touch and made it even more unbelievable. As I mentioned, the working part of this trick is very carefully made and it does have to be cared for: it should be cleaned after every use and wiped off so the brass block does not begin to tarnish. This is one of those tricks that does not require a lot of forethought to do before hand, and very little preparation. It is VERY well made, and it has fooled everyone I have used it on. If you keep it in as received condition (clean and untarnished) you can give it to the spectator immediately after using to examine. Odds are they will never figure out the secret. There is only one brass block and no tricky sleights or moves to learn. Oh yes, if you want, you can even light the match you use for added effect: before or after using the box. Cheers!!
