The card trick idea called 'A Card Named Bill' first explained by Paul Marcus in 'Hex' back in 1969 has taken on many different faces through the years with variations in the method and presentation. There's 'Fred the Card', 'Oscar', 'The Dream', 'Female', 'X-Deck', and 'Bertha', just to name a few. 'Just in Time' by Astor magic is yet another incantation of that premise and a good one. It's modern, using a digital timer theme and involving a timer app. on your smartphone (any timer app. works fine and many can be downloaded for free). This method also uses one of the easiest methods in that genre. There are no doubles, no sticky stuff, any card can be named, and the deck is always ready to go and resets instantly. The 'Timer' card case with the timer theme gives a logical reason for the cards to have the various times on their backs. It gives the appearance of simply being one of those hundreds of novelty decks that can be found that have unique back designs on them for whatever reason and helps to eliminate that 'magic prop' feel that certain magic decks often take on. If you know some of the secrets of this genre of card illusions ('Oscar' for example) you may be thinking "That's a great idea using a timer theme, I'll make one for myself!". The price for this trick however is very reasonable for such a well made deck with the nice card case, unique presentation and simple methodology behind it. Highly recommended
Note: The instructions come on a dvd so a computer or dvd player will be needed to learn the method.
