'Ghost Card' is another brilliant piece of close-up magic by the illusion genius Lubor Fiedler.
I'll start this review with my favorite part of this trick, as the performer, which is that this is a Tenyo item that can be carried around in the real world and performed. Extreme care must be taken with the props and especially the gimmick. It is a delicate thing. The fairly rigid case and normal playing cards however do keep it mostly safe and within an inside jacket pocket the prop is fine. It would have been nice if Tenyo had provided a nice protective case for the prop to be kept, I would have gladly paid extra for it. Dust can get inside the prop because of the open sides and could compromise the gimmick. It's obvious it's a magic prop when performed so taken out of a case would have made no difference. The trick is relatively easy to do, like clockwork you just have to remember the steps and motions. The trick can be done without the case but more experience in card handling is necessary, plus your shirt color provides backdrop so I don't think I'm overstepping by saying if you're buying this trick with the intention of performing it without the case, you will need a black shirt.
My advice is to get this trick while it's available. It will go down in the annals as a Tenyo and Lubor Fiedler classic and will be desired by magic lovers and collectors.
