'Pen Pal by Alexis de la Fuente' is a clever version of the 'signed card to impossible location' illusion. The method is beyond simple, it's also extremely practical and resets in a instant if desired. When you're doing walkaround, the gimmick simply rides along, safely and out of sight and mind yet is ready to go to work at any time. Mark Mason, a talented magician and excellent teacher teaches you 2 additional methods for performing a 'signed card to under Sharpie marker' illusion as well as a full performance so you can see how clean and amazing this method is to a spectator. One variation uses the 'Pen Pal' gimmick and the other variation is completely impromptu, using no gimmick whatsoever. Each of them have their own unique strengths and, if desired, can be used in combinations for a repeat performance with more than one signed card or different performance environments. Normally I would have felt the cost of this being expensive for the secret involved but since it comes with the materials needed to make the gimmick(s) and combined with Mark Mason's outstanding teaching and performance tips (step by step, from beginning to end), as well as him teaching two additional methods of performing that particular illusion (3 methods in all), the price is quite reasonable. I've already made one (extremely simple process) and it will be travelling with me through my magical endeavors from now on. Personally I'll be performing the 2nd method (Mark's first variation).
