It amazes me the number of fine illusions/tricks that Tenyo has produced over the years. The Pillars of Thor is another winner. Don't let its simple look fool you, it really is quite intricate. I thought it was a bit expensive until I saw how it was assembled: it is an item that should last for hundreds of uses, but not something that could be easily repaired if it were disassembled.
You have to supply your own playing card to effect the final illusion...WHY they couldn't include one is beyond me, aside from that the written instructions are detailed, but easily followed. Most of you probably have an idea of how it works, especially if you own pom pom sticks, or something similar. However, this apparatus goes beyond that simple ruse and incorporates a device that is precision made that allows you to seemingly sever the string, then restore it! It is a very good illusion and a fooler, and resonably priced.
