Grand escape Illusion with minimal props.
(Effect)
Magician shows a board that has a hole in the center.
Now, the magician takes off his jacket, hangs it on the chair, and asks the spectator to tightly bind one of his wrists with a rope.
Then, the other end of the rope is threaded through the hole in the board, and the other wrist is also bound tightly; both hands are completely secured to the board.
Now, the magician sits on the chair, and a curtain is placed before him.
A few seconds later, when the curtain is removed, the magician is magically wearing his jacket. How??? Both of his hands are still bound to the board.
Finally, the spectator unties the knots and removes the rope from the magician's wrists to confirm that the rope had been tightly bound to the magician’s wrists the entire time.
In the demo video, the magician attempts to wear the jacket while his hands are completely bound. You may attempt to take off your jacket instead.
“Tenmarou” is a traditional and classic Japanese magic that has been performed for 300 years.
In the Edo era, the very thick, hard, and heavy board was tied to prisoners' wrists in prison, so they could not escape from there. "Tenmarou" was invented then and has been performed secretly as one of the Wazuma (Japanese-style magic) tricks.
We want to introduce you to the Tenmarou (Economy version) with hard cardboard so that everyone can instantly enjoy it instead of a hard and heavy board.
Of course, you can use the actual wood board (please provide your own) instead of the board we provided once you have learned how to perform.
This item comes with a rectangular board and rope. Please provide a curtain.
