The magician shows the audience a black silk, a white silk and a black tin with white dots on it. He then announces that inside the tin he will change the black silk into white, and the white silk into black.
After having shown this not so magical transformation, he says that he wants to repeat the effect changing the silks back to their original colors.
The audience will naturally start to grumble claiming that the magician did not really change the color of the silks.
Offended by this accusation, the magician blows on the black dotted tin, and makes all the white dots disappear, but that’s not all because now magically on the black silk white dots have appeared, and on the white silk black dots have appeared!
