The magician introduces a small wooden chest suspended from a holder. The participant is informed that the box contains a deck of cards and a small envelope.
The participant is asked to cut an imaginary deck of cards and count the number of cards in the portion he cuts off. He has a completely free choice of the number.
The chains are detached from the chest, and the chest is placed on the table. The participant is then instructed to open the chest and place the envelope and the deck of cards on the table.
The magician takes his prediction card out of the envelope and shows no other card is left. The participant himself counts off the same number of cards that he imagined cutting before (for example, 20 cards). The 20th card is (for example, Jack of Hearts).
Finally, the magician reveals his prediction card... it's JACK OF HEARTS!
- The magician never touches the deck. No sleight of hand is required.
- A standard deck of Bicycle poker cards are used. No Duplicated cards or memorized deck.
- The performer does NOT force the number on the spectator. Any number can be used.
- Reset takes but two minutes. The effect is performed EXACTLY as stated under 'EFFECT'.
You receive the beautiful solid walnut chest with golden chains; a deck of Bicycle cards ( you can use your own); sample envelopes and special gimmick plus complete detailed instructions. Chest is supplied with custom fitted red velvet draw-string pouch.
