Have audience choose a card from a deck of cards.
(Let's say the audience has chosen "9 of Clubs".)
Show the audience an empty envelope, and put the chosen card into the envelope.
Next, cover the envelope with a small cloth. Touch the cloth lightly.
The card is supposed to have disappeared, but it seems the magician has made a mistake....
To "cover his mistake', the magician explains
"I forgot to use the whole deck of cards", so he places the deck of cards on the cloth to make the trick successful this time..
The magician moves the deck on the cloth, and opens the cloth.
Now the card has disappeared from the envelope.
