When it comes to the snake basket trick there are few magicians with the knowledge and collection of snake baskets like Dick Barry.
In the past Dick has made and sold his own popular version of this classic trick, with many added twists.
His NEW VERSION is called "TRASH CAN SNAKE" and it's definitely the snake basket (or should we say "trash can") of this century.
Here are a few of the special features you get:
The funny (cute) looking snake is kept in a stainless steel trash can.
The snake is the "ORANGE HEADED RATTLER". There is NO electronics or complicated mechanisms to break down.
The lid of the trash can and the snake rises or lowers at your command, as fast or as slow as you wish.
The snake will go back into the can and come up 3 times with a different card each time. Whenever you wish, the snake gives out a "rattling sound".
(EFFECT)
After a spectator selects a card the cards are dropped into a trash can. After knocking on the lid of the trash can the snake rises with a card that reads, "I'LL FIND THE CARD!"
The snake then drops down back into the trash can, along with his "FALSE TEETH" (he is very old and toothless).
When he rises from the can he has a card with a bite taken from it. Unfortunately it is the wrong card!
A "FIRECRACKER" is produced as you give a warning on the dangers of fireworks. The firecracker is then dropped into the trash can and it "explodes". (See, we told you fireworks were dangerous!)
After the explosion the dazed snake rises from the can with a charred-black card, caused by the firecracker's explosion.
Sorry, but again it is the wrong card! The snake is given one more chance and goes back into the can for the third time. This time he rises from the can with the correct card. CELEBRATION TIME!
Another "explosion" goes off inside the can and colorful streamers fly from the can.

You receive the gimmicked trash can and cute snake, plus a complete video DVD covering presentation and all the secrets and workings of this amazing "TRASH CAN SNAKE". In addition it comes with a battery operated recorder/player that plays a "rattling sound" (or any other sound you wish to record), a built-in "bang" devise with toy caps, 3 gimmicked cards (plus instructions on how to make your own), a party popper and holder, a fake firecracker, a mini set of false teeth and a list of funny (corny) snake jokes you can use during the routine.
All you need to learn is how to force a card (or use a force deck) and the rest is pure fun and entertainment. This trash can is easy to handle, approximately 7" wide by 10" tall. No table needed . . . do the entire routine in your hands while surrounded (angle free).
