Magician asks for two volunteers from the audience.
He asks Spectator A to choose a card from the deck. Spectator A looks at the card and shows it to the rest of the audience BUT NOT to Spectator B.
Spectator A then places the card back into the deck.
The magician then asks Spectator A to concentrate on the chosen card.
Magician takes a flashlight and shines it on Spectator A’s forehead, explaining that he will carry the information to Spectator B with the light beam.
He shines the beam on Spectator B’s forehead. Spectator B then chooses a card, but it is the wrong card. Frustrated, the magician says, “It didn’t work. Ok, keep concentrating on the card, both of you.”
Magician shines the flashlight on Spectator A’s forehead, then back to Spectator B’s forehead. This time it works and Spectator B names the correct card.
Even though there are spectators all around, only one spectator can
experience the miracle.
The rest of the audience still only sees the original face card.
Watching the video is not enough to show the true cleverness of this gimmick.
Once you see the gimmick with your own eyes, you will be surprised at how clever it is. Wow!
