Magician brings out the apparatus, opens the top panel of the frame, and removes the mirror.
Magicians hands the mirror to the spectator, asking him/her to note that the mirror is solid and the ribbon is firmly attached.
Magician places the mirror into the recessed area within the frame, so that the ribbon hangs over the edge.
Magician closes the frame, opens the hinged flap, and taps the die against the mirror through the small window.
Magician turns the frame over and tap the die against the mirror through the other small window.
Now that the audience sees it is a solid mirror, the magician opens the hinged flap and rests the die on top of the mirror,
asking the spectator to hold onto the end of the ribbon.
The die is sinking down slowly and slowlyOf course, the spectator is still holding the ribbon..
Ultimately, the die completely penetrates through the solid mirror.
After this miracle happens, the magician hands this mirror to audience to examine, but it is still quite solid.
