You could also produce a rubber chicken, candy or any other production item that will fit.

There are no cumbersome lids, it's all self contained.
What the heck is a chafing dish anyway? It's really simple, you break an egg into a frying pan, there is a flash of fire (completely under your control) and instantly a dove appears!!!
